After three years of testing out the perfect fabric blends and fit for the ultimate base layer, we believe we’ve landed on the most technical base layer on the market for the whitetail hunter.

If you’re looking for a layer to provide a little bit of added warmth without the bulk, ASIO’s all new lightweight base layer system offers just that. Paired with the mid-season sherpa system (sherpa jacket and pants) or our late season system (late season jacket and bib), this base layer is perfect for those fall brisk hunts where temps start to drop below that 45-degree range.

The thin blend of a poly synthetic and merino wool is treated with Active X scent control technology. The fast moisture wicking synthetic, paired with the warmth, heat retention, and natural scent eliminating properties of the merino makes this base layer perfect for the whitetail hunter.

Place the measuring tape around the largest part of your chest. The tape should be flat and not too tight.

Sleeve
With your arm in a slightly bent position, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Lightweight base layer top

This was probably some of the best material in a shirt I have felt. I’m 6’3 175lbs and ordered a L, length of the shirt was great and the arms was great. shoulder felt slightly tight and around the wrists but other than that, no complaints! Will order again.
